Presenting: Ann IOSA

I've loved to draw ever since early childhood where I spent most of my time sketching, coloring and painting. After I graduated from Paier School of Art where I studied illustration and design, I became a staff artist for the Weekly Reader moving on to become a freelance illustrator for children's literature. I live in Connecticut, out in the country with the animals that inspire me, along with my husband and two children. My art portrays a whimsical and colorful style that reflects my love of nature, children, and especially animals which are shown in my most recent books:

+ At the Fair (Houghton Mifflin)

+ People Who Help (Macmillan/McGraw-Hill)

+ The Day the Power Went Out (Wright Group)

+ The Best Day (Scott Foresman)

+ Ben Has to Go (Harcourt School Publishers)

+ Pirates Jumbo color and activity book/ Pirates sound story book (Meredith Book)
